How come what I want I can never have?
When I was young it was a toy but now it's more than that,
When I see you with her,
I can feel a stir,
Something awakes in my heart,
Makes the anguish start,
Emerald eyes flashing, thirsty, greedy for you,
An immense love- I want you to feel it too,
You flirt with her so outrageously,
But you don't look, don't see my jealousy,
The beast that lurks inside of me,
Prowling, toying with my emotions,
Causing me malicious notions,
I want to push her out of the way,
If only for a day,
Then you would see me, and the green eyed beast slinking around inside of me,
You could slay it, off with its head,
Rivers of blood- vermillion red,
No longer piercing green...
