Chapter 3

Fallenpaw sat on his nest grooming his fur in the apprentice den. Then Moonpaw came racing in.
"Sneezefang is having kits!" Moonpaw yowled, as he raced into the apprentice.
"Already?" Pebblepaw looked up from her nest. Pebblepaw is the only other apprentice in Riverclan.
"Yep! I can't wait to see them! I bet they will be so cute!" Moonpaw purred excitedly. Sneezefang is Moonpaw's mother.
"I bet Stonetail is excited." Fallenpaw meowed between licks.
"He is, he's in the nursery right now." Moonpaw meowed. Fallenpaw stood up and walked over to his friend.
"We should go hunting and bring back some fresh kill for Sneezefang." Fallenpaw suggested.
"That's a great idea! I want to come too!" Pebblepaw leaped from her nest, her silver tabby fur fluffed up with excitement.
"Ok! Let's go!" Moonpaw raced put of the nursery, Fallenpaw and Pebblepaw followed.

Later Fallenpaw, Moonpaw, and Pebblepaw walked back into camp with their mouths full of prey. Together they caught two mice, three squirrels and one vole. Moonpaw put his prey in the fresh kill pile and raced over to the nursery. Streamheart was walking out.
"Sneezefang had her kits. You have two new sisters and four new brothers." Streamheart purred to Moonpaw.
"Yes! Can I go see them?" Moonpaw asked. Streamheart nodded. Moonpaw raced in. Pebblepaw followed him with her prey. Fallenpaw walked over to Streamheart with his squirrel.
"Here Streamheart, you must be hungry." Fallenpaw dropped the squirrel at her paws.
"Thanks." Streamheart purred, she picked up the squirrel and walked over to her den.
"Fallenpaw! Fallenpaw!" Moonpaw raced up to Fallenpaw. "They are so cute! One looks like me!"
"That's great! Did they name them yet?" Fallenpaw asked.
"No not yet." Moonpaw meowed. Pebblepaw raced up to them.

"I want to become a warrior soon, so I can mentor one of them." Pebblepaw meowed.
"Yeah me too!" Fallenpaw meowed.
