Chapter 13

Two weeks later, Sunday. It was my Birthday. I was sleeping in my bed, when Edward came in the room and turned on the light.
"Why would you do that?" I asked sleepily.
"Because it's your birthday! Happy birthday! I wanted to be the first one to wish you happy birthday. Plus mom made pancakes." Edward said and raced back out of the room. I jump out of bed and tried to follow, but slipped on my homework and books and landed in a pile of clothes.
"We really need to clean up this mess." I said and dragged myself and raced out of the room. The smell of pancakes filled my lungs.
"Good morning." My dad said as he flipped a pancake on to a plate. My dad makes the best pancakes. Dad handed me the plate. I sat down and covered my pancakes with whipped cream and syrup.
"Want some pancakes with your whipped cream and syrup?" My mom joked.

After breakfast we all went to the movies. Some of my brother's friends were there so they went to Wreck it Ralph. My younger sister, Ann, and my mom went to see Twilight. And me and my dad went to see Red Dawn, best movie ever!

When we got home I went to my room and played my guitar, until it was dinner time. We had pizza, my favorite food. I had like five pieces. Then we had cake, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, on top it had in yellow frosting the words Happy Birthday Jake and it had little umbrellas as candles. I felt really sick after cake.

Then it was present time I got one big present and two small presents, all were wrapped with newspaper.
"Here open my first!" Ann handed on of the small presents, it was a rectangle shape and it felt like it had some kind of clothing in it. I tore at the newspaper. It was a white T-shirt with a red A and a red S just like my jacket.
"I love it thanks." I smiled and Ann hugged me.
"Open mine now, it's way better." Edward said and handed me a tiny box shaped present. I tore the newspaper and opened the box and found a guitar pick.
"Thanks." I said. Then the last present for my parents. I tore the newspaper and found a paper boy's bag. It was dark blue and light blue and it had a shell on the front.
