Chapter 5
'Bernard' picks up my see-through box, and takes me to the 'Examination Room'. It's a large room with loads of shelves, all the up to the ceiling. The shelves on one wall are covered in strange concoctions, some bubbling, some fizzing, some air, just floating around.
On the other wall there are varying sizes of draw-like boxes, that are pulled in and out to put things, other CREATURES in. I'm truely terrified by now. Bernard looks unfazed, and keeps walking.
He takes me to a small operation table where the scientist has re-appeared, suddenly.
"There you go Mr Gasloe" he says humbly
"Thank you Bernard" says 'Mr Gasloe'.
"Now, what first..." he sees me peering up at him, petrified and says "What? You're still awake? Well we'll soon sort that out..." talking more to himself than me.
He takes a massive injecting needle, almost the size of me, with a long silver, polished needle as thick as my finger, and fills it up with a smoky, orange gas, and injects it up my nose. It tickles, and I start to feel giddy, and extremely tired, so I laugh, and close my eyes.
That means that I only feel the knife, didn't see it.
