My Eyes

Grey-green,
Like a murky pond,
Look to close and you will drown.

Then a bright patch,
In the middle,
An explosion of speckled brown.

Like a supernova,
Bursting out,
In the depths of space.

My eyes,
I think,
Are the most attractive thing on my face.

Mysterious,
And unreadable,
Dark, yet quite witty.

I know something,
That you don't,
And believe me it's not pretty.
