They stalk me,
The shadows.
They know I've had a deal with darkness,
And they want more.
They're on the walls,
On the floor.
They know I'm not an angel,
And they want to take advantage if that,
Using me,
Then squashing me flat.
They know my habits,
The things I like,
The things I don't,
The colour of my bike.
They know me inside out,
Upside down,
Sideways,
Round and round.
They know me better than I know myself,
And they're coming,
To get me.
And they're coming with shadow stealth.
