The sun glares down. Clawing at the earth. With fiery talons. Whispering through blazing flares. "I have been here. Far longer then you. Pitiful earth. You will burn. My power is stronger.

#nightdwellers. It smells of grass. Of river ripples. Of bark and crisp. Brittle leaves. A branch I grasp. Feeling the notches. The crevices and divets. In its surface.

Cold sweat. Quiet screams. Make believe threats. From demented dreams. Blood and fears. From ghosts unseen. Wake me in tears. From the murky in-between. I'll sit here and panic. Alone in my bed.

My insomnia seems to be getting worse. The clock keeps ticking, yet the time doesn't pass. Time only leaves me with that chance to reflect, or that chance to feel it all again.
