I saw this stunning, beautiful face and instantly I knew,
That life and love and hope would gently follow through,
A beauty to place my arms around,
As I sit in awe, I wonder at the fortune that somehow such a girl as this I found,
Oh, to feel her skin press desperately against my skin, as we slow dance, in a trance, pushing the night demons far away,
This is our castle, our loving cocoon, eye to eye and single-breath, this, this is where God with careful hands crafted me to stay,
We revolve, blind, entranced, floating in each others folds of consciousness, growing limb into limb,
A love so bright and painfully pure that even the dawning sun seems somehow to respectfully dim,
This is what I see,
For Emily and me,
A place where nothing that harms,
Can reach her... safely protected... in the folds of my arms.................................
