Caution... To The Wind

I throw caution to the wind
Take no prisoners
Escape from the fate of sin

Being me...
I look at caution with a smile
A sly one
While my inner thoughts run wild

They say...
I do what I please
No second thought needed
And when I do sleep...it's with ease

You see...
I threw caution to the wind
Quite some time ago
It was broken ties I tried to mend

Unfortunately...
They remained broken
I went on my way
With only bittersweet memoirs as a token

Caution no longer haunts me
I tossed it over my shoulder
When I saw a mysterious creature
With eyes that would smolder

Down a dark tunnel
With twists and turns
No looking back
Not worrying about a soul that would burn

Caution...
To the wind
That's all that consumes me

Living...
On the edge
Without a care in the world

Some may think I'm typical
But I'm anything but... "That girl"

Caution...
To the wind
That's how I live nowadays
And that's how I'll continue living
Until the end of days...
