It's six o'clock and the sun's going down,
Nearly time for you to away wipe that frown from your face.
Maybe someday you'll float off into space,
When gravity decides to let you go-
I assure you, it's better than what I had in store.
So much gore, so much pain.
Feeling nothing, as I tossed your body into the rain.
A light mist covered the lake that night,
In my mind not a fright.
No doubt, no fear.
I never shed one tear watching you go.
I had smiled,
For the first time in a long while.
