Forever retained now,
Stuck here somehow,
Imprinted on my mind,
If I am rendered blind,
I didn't click a camera,
Where it will be remembered for an era,
My brain does that for me,
I simply remember what I see.
Sure it means I can't show others,
Or share it with another,
But it means enough to me,
Just to be able to see.
In my minds eye,
Until the day I die,
I will remember you
And I will always love you, too.
