Sometimes,
The world pulls a rug from under my feet,
Sometimes,
A new day with a smile I greet,
Sometimes,
I want to scream at the wall,
Sometimes,
I know I have to stand tall,
Sometimes,
I raise my head up high,
Sometimes,
On the floor I cry,
Sometimes,
The world seems so cruel,
Sometimes,
Life adds another rule,
Sometimes,
The unknown comes knocking,
Sometimes,
Shadows come flocking,
Sometimes,
It's all you can do to stay alive,
Sometimes,
You can barely survive,
Sometimes,
The light does shine through,
Sometimes,
Shows a path you never knew,
Sometimes,
Life let's things slide,
Sometimes,
On life you can glide,
Sometimes,
Out of the darkness you can't climb,

You have to pay for your crime.
