So it's been about a month since I posted the first part of I am night. Thanks for all the feedback and keep it coming. Here's part 2. Chapter two: Call me night. "You, must be Zara.
Zara stood silently at the gate to the compound. It was Tuesday, and raining heavily. She brushed a strand of chestnut hair from her pale face and sighed.
"That was dangerous y'know..." muttered the strange boy. Rydian stared. The boy refused to make eye contact, and apparently had a great interest in staring at his worn runners.
Rydian prepared to jump. He readied himself and was about to lunge forwards, when someone grabbed onto his shoulder and yanked him backwards. He stumbled and fell on his back into the soft earth.
A cage is a closed door. A cage is a place of sadness. Captivity. A cage is a freedom-stealer. It reeks of despair. Metal bars, thick and strong. Holdfast, and don't break for long.
Rydian stood on the edge of the cliff top. His dark grey eyes scanned the horizon. Watching, watching. A flash of light caught his attention. Again. It flashed three more times. The signal.
Back after five months... I wonder if I'll stay this time. I've been busy. Sorry. I might post some new stories, I might not. Poems?. Probably. Glad to see I'm 763 in the rankings. Haha. ~Red.

Looking for inspiration, was a hard task for me. I was thinking as hard as thinking goes, to where he might be. I looked under my bed and inside my closet. Was he there?. Of course he wasn't.

If I could listen to music forever, I would. It sends a message, picks me up when I'm down, matches my every mood, gives me ideas and above all, makes me happy.
I'm starting a new Egyptian based story. I got my inspiration from The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan so you might see some similarities. All criticism/ideas welcome. Here goes. Cairo, Egypt.
My life was like a lift, It went up and it went down. Sometimes I got stuck halfway up But I could only frown. I didn't often have to call maintenance, Things sorted out themselves.
It annoys me a bit to think that the most noticed people on Opuss are the ones who post over used quotes, jokes etc.
I'm going to try to be more original from now on. Expect a lot less overused quotes and more of my own material..
