Is it just me or is there something quite poetic about trains? I mean they are a great Inspiration for poetry aren't they?
They create their own rhythms and the poems one could write about the people on trains could fill several books.
When you're on a train you're going somewhere, you have a purpose and I think that's quite poetic, all poems have a purpose, like trains as well as a destination, either someone dies, there's a romance etc which is something poems and trains have in common. That's why I like to ride the train, and I suppose to travel in general, I like feeling like I have a purpose
