When I walk into school I'm usually sad.
Sad that I'm not in the "In-Crowd". I sometimes wish at least one boy would like me. I'm said that I'm failing in my classes. I used to be the smartest girl. But now I feel like a dummy. What's wrong with me? I wish I was accepted. My classmates look down on my because I am a black girl that's friends with the "white kids". I was often called white because I spoke properly, and strived to do my best in school. My momma always told me that you can't please everyone. Right?

Of course she is and you should be true to yourself. The only reason that prejudice continues is because some people are determined to see the colour of a persons skin, ignore them, be friends with nice people, whatever colour they happen to be. When the boys grow up a bit they will notice what they were missing! βΊ
Trust me I know the exact feeling. When you see the beauty in yourself, all the boys see it too. Sounds cliche but very true!! Don't chase the boys, let them chase you. And let your intelligence shine through. If you respect yourself you'll be respected :3 Just more kind words π
@AxelLullaby I love what you said. I never chase boys. I would just wonder why they didn't like me. But the boys at my school aren't worth the time of day.
