Black Magic

Draconian cackles erupted like lava from the blackness of the vast forest, echoing eerily through the trees. Leaves rustled, trembling on their branches as a cloaked figure glided through the trees silently; stealthily. A swarm of enraged bats flapped angrily behind it in a busy cluster of athletic black bodies. The figure was like a floating shadow; disappearing as silently as it had come, then appearing again only seconds later; like a ninja. Another cackle escaped the figures lips as it disappeared behind the thick trunk of a tree. Its face was hidden beneath a coal black hood, only her mouth on show. The figures visible mouth was permanently carved into a hungry smirk as its white, wispy hair blew like a kite in the wind. The figure gingerly slid to a stop, the bats immediately landing at its heels like obedient dogs. They crawled around freakishly on the floor like ruthless demons as the figure drew in the misty air around it, and suddenly it hissed like a cat, her shoulders hunching as if it's unknown body spasmed. "My prey" she whispered in a raspy voice. The Bats suddenly sprang to life again, encircling the mysterious figure. She cackled obnoxiously, and darted like a cheetah into the shadowed woods, shouting "My prey. I have found my prey!".
