Waves tore heartlessly at the little white light house, scratching away it's damp paint work and wrecking the potted flowers placed elegantly on the doorstep. With a ferocious roar, the waves crashed against the light house repeatedly, determined to ruin it's beauty. The light house's bright yellow light glared across the vast expanse of fearsome ocean, warning ships not to come too close. Wind whipped wildly into the lighthouse, unforgiving and cruel; tearing away the pretty little weather vain and feeding it to the ever hungry sea. Deep gray misshapen clouds gathered in groups, concealing the sun behind there dreary wall. The only colour to be seen was that of the lighthouse's life saving light, as yellow as a spring daffodil. People looked on as the small light house was ravaged and attacked by the sea, helpless to stop what was happening. One thing for sure, was that everyone felt sorry for that poor little lighthouse by the sea.
