Everything has a purpose

Written by: Alice Macgregor

Everything has a purpose. Clocks tell the time, traffic lights tell you wether to stop or go, a mayor runs a town, a book makes sure its enjoyable to read and the sun, moon, and stars make sure the world still turns.

All my life I've been wondering what my purpose is or what its gonna end up to be. I've been around for a while...... and still haven't figured it out yet. I figure out everyone else's purposes just by looking, hearing or smelling. But me... I just don't know.
Wind trickles through me, skin is torn off me and I'm very old.
Everyone says trees don't have purposes or mouths, ears, nose, or eyes. But the two things we do have are a purpose and a mind.

Branches and twigs are like fingers and toes. Bark is like skin. It hurts if u tear it apart. Some trees have to get cut down to make room for people to live as well and maybe that's those trees purpose but the few of us who just stand around and watch, like the ticking of a clock may never figure out what we're here for.... our purpose.

Things

Why can't things be simple. There is always something that doesn't quite go to plan. And that something is usually the most important part of the plan.

End

How do we know that things will ever end. How do we know that when we think things will end... And that things will ever cease to be. That once we think it is all over, it won't finish.
