Stuck Between Pt2

As I closed my eyes and went back to the dream, i returned to the factory. I was in the front entrance
now, no sign of my friend, I guess he had realised that he didn't work here.
I walked back into the factory and looked around, "where have all the people gone" i thought to myself as i noticed all the workers had vanished.
It was an erie feeling of quietness in a factory which was normally so busy. I started walking up towards the back of the building, seeing major differences in all the stuff around me but for some reason all my dreams are like that, but you still just about know where you are.
All of a sudden I heard a voice over the PA system saying something, at first i couldn't work out what it was saying.
Then i recognised that the voice coming from the speakers wasn't the woman who normally spoke. Instantly i could work out what she was saying....... and it wasn't good.

" there is a threat of a terrorist attack please stay inside your houses i repeat there is a threat of a terrorist attack please stay inside your houses"

I instantly opened my eyes and to my shock i could still here her voice.
It was now accompanied by the high pitch screaming of what sounded like a bomb whistling down to earth. Needless to say i was completely terrified, I suddenly could hear children screaming, my heart nearly broke when i realised who the children were, before i knew it I had jumped out of bed and ran downstairs nearly completely naked, pounding on the shed door where my brother and his mate were playing the computer.
I shouted at them "DID YOU HEAR THAT" they both looked at me like I was mad " hear what?" my brother replied . "that woman, the bombs"
I said as i was only just realising what was going on. They just burst into hysterics, and i realised that it was just my brain stuck between a dream and waking state.

I know this sounds completely crazy but this just goes to show how powerful the brain is if it can implement dreams or nightmares should I say , into reality. To the people who suffer from sleep paralysis this sort of thing can be a regular occurrence. luckily this was the last time it has happened, hopefully it won't again

Ps. Don't try this at home (-; just keep your eyes shut.

OHMYGOSH I never knew that was possible, although I seem to remember when I was younger, having a dream about the Lizard off Spider-man, being headless. I woke up and it was still there. It hasn't happened since but it scare the life out of me at the time -.- lol but I never knew that there was a 'Sleep Paralysis' thing :S

Yeah neither did I when it first started happening, as you could probably picture I thought I was mad. But I stayed calm and did some research. I luckily found out about the condition, some people just keep it to them selfs all there life in fear of being called mad, I'm not really to fussed what people think of me anymore, well the bad stuff anyway.@ben_leggatt

Your one sounds more fun than mine. (-:

@Stablish it really wasn't at the time, seeing a headless lizard walking towards me :S hehe, u know what, I am going to adopt that saying from now on ... I don't care what people call me , so thank you for that quote :D

@ben_leggatt no worries i'm full of em (-: , yeah perhaps i find some weird things fun. Lol

@Stablish hehe :)

I once had a dream where I woke up and I was still dreaming! It was horrible!

@overskill Yeah it takes you by surprise first time,

Very interesting, your writing conveys the confusion too! I am just starting to write a story about a girl who has dreams that overlap with reality. So your posts are very intriguing.

@Stablish omg! That's so strange, scary how powerful the brain is! My granddad swears he had a paranormal experience once, he "woke up" in the night to see a black hooded figure at the side of him. The figure extender his hand to my granddad and granddad took his hand and proceeded to float up above the bed. He said he was looking down on himself and my nan and he shook the figure off and said "it's not my time - who'll look after Marion?" when he first told me I was so freaked out! X

@PoppyA Wow, what a story, you never know tho (-;, that's what scientists think most abduction story's are sleep paralysis, I'm lazy so im going back to bed for a hour, catch you later, thanks for reading(-:

@KT77 Thank you very much, can't wait to read it (-:

@KT77 Great thanks for letting me know, will check them now. (-:

Loved part 1 and part 2 @Stablish you have a talent for writing!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience, well written too - I was very much absorbed into the story!

@mirabahjojabo Thank you for reading (-:, I will try to write up some of the other things I have seen as well soon, just hit a bit of a block along the road of progress. I think I underestimated the power of words. Hopefully my dreams can help again.

@Stablish also may I suggest you watch the movie "The Machinist"? It's quite a dark movie where a man's mind mixes reality with his imagination/dreams... Very good film!

@mirabahjojabo Thanks for the suggestion I will check it out.(-:

@Stablish From reading your writings I think you would enjoy it!

Can't believe ive only just found this!

@MrAlex I'm happy you did, this is a really strange moment for me, I still need to write a full poem about all my experiences with sleep paralysis, thanks for the comment it means a lot๐Ÿ˜ŠโœŒ
