The past is past for a reason. We can run from it, and it will chase us; we can chase after it, and it will run away. It will never change, though it is the biggest thing we dwell over like it matters. The past doesn't define you, though it will constrain you if you let it.
Most people look to the future to solve their problems, but the future has enough problems of its own. It will not solve things for you, but merely make them go away for a little. The future is more advanced, and bridges your dreams with you. It's like a drug, a false drug.
The present is absolute. It will not tell you what will happen, or what has happened. It's always observing and calm. It is the one that adjusts the most easily. It will not define you, though it will try to mold you like molding water. You will change then, and think you are constrained to that, going to the past, but you can change to the new mold any time, heading to the future. The present is where both, past and future meet, coincide, and become one in a harmonic balance.
