Chapter 2: Saved

I was right. It was the worst day. I was driving home past the cliffs in the dark.
RING RING.
My phone. Gail. Ughhh. Damn. I dropped the phone. I struggled to pick it up from the passenger seat floor.
That's when I looked up and screamed. The car was about the go off the edge. Suddenly, arms wrapped around me and dragged me out of the car before it went off the edge. I was still screaming
"It's ok. It's ok. Your safe" Said a voice. The voice of a boy.
I realised I was on the floor with the boys arms wrapped around me. He had saved me. The boy had saved me.
I held onto his arms tightly so I couldn't move.
"Are you ok?" He whispered.
"I think so" I replied. There was a low screeching noise and the boy tightened his grip around me.
"Don't move" Why would I move? And where to? The noise stopped.
"Thank you for saving me"
"It's alright. Your alive thats all that matters" He said as he helped me up.
I got a good look at him now. He had light green eyes and brown hair cut short but it looked really fluffy.
"Where did you come from?" I asked."There's nobody around for miles."
"I was....walking" Oh. "Hey, i'll give you a ride home"
"Oh that's fine. I can walk home"
"Don't worry about it"
"Thanks. Emmm.... What do I do about my car?" I asked. Did I just leave it? Of course not.
"You can't get it down there. But my cousin owns a car place in town, I could get you a good deal on a new one and ill get a truck out here tomorrow to get it out for you" He replied.
"Thank you but it's fine. Thats too much to ask from you. I don't even know your name"
"Patch"
"Nice. My names Louise"
"Lovely name"
"Thank you" I said smiling.
"Come on" Patch said grabbing my hand. "My car is this way"....
