New Emotion Challenge!

After much gnashing of teeth, we have finally unraveled the tangled ball of spider web Wolfie lobbed at us, before he ran away cackling like a loon.

So: deadline at 6pm GMT Wed,

Tag BOTH @VikingHorn and @RichWithey in the comments, and the new theme is:

Betrayed!

(You don't have to use the word itself, just write something that captures the essence of betrayal.)

Have fun all, wallowing in your past hurts and disappointments!

Improvisation Challenge

I've really enjoyed the themed writing challenges. How about one using certain words. The challenge is to write a small piece no more than two screen pages long using every one of the words.

@RichWithey Greenwich Standard. Just over 24 hrs from now, right?

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ good word ๐Ÿ˜˜

@RichWithey Maybe it's my bad. I should use the term you guys recognize. Greenwich Mean, then? Maybe I'll change it in the post. No point having a world standard for clarity, if it's confusing.

Can it be a story? I have an idea that won't work in poetry form

@Nom Sure, it can be a story.

@VikingHorn lightweights. You shoulda tried JUDGING the entries. But betrayal.... Nice theme.

@wolfie Nah, I'm just gonna draw paper out of a hat. You're one to talk about judging, Mr Two Rounds In And I Still Can't Decide. ๐Ÿ˜œ

@VikingHorn that's what I meant. It was tough.

@wolfie Oh, we both fully understand how tough it is. That's why we were stalling and tossing that grenade back and forth. These challenges are cool, and a good way to inspire interest, and nudge people out of ruts and blocks and all that ... But judging them is a bona fide public service, it keeps things going, but it's not easy! But nothing worthwhile is, right? ๐Ÿป

@RichWithey So, is there a handful that stand out to you?

@RichWithey I did get em, and while I liked all the ones on your list, there were some others I liked better that you had off, like HeatherAnne/The End of the Knife and Melchior/toxic Trust. I also liked that Rich Withey bloke's, as well. ;-). I will think about it as I walk my dogs.
