The heavy load that leaders bear, the choices meaning life or death must surely evenly compare with every kitten's tiny breath.
To send a soldier into war is just as meaningful a thing as skittering across the floor to chase a taunting ball of string.
My heart cries out in sympathy with every sad complaint I hear. There is no greater tragedy than when a kitten sheds a tear.
Don't get me wrong, I know the job that artists do has real worth; to shine a light on social wrongs or even just to bring us mirth.
But let's not take this all too far, imagining some royal rights when all we have are souls to bare and naught at stake that's worth a shite.
