Throw Away The Pride

When you see that single lone figure in a sea of welcomed strangers, give pity. Ultimately, it is your generosity that fuels their will in continuing. Do not give your treasured compassion freely. Give it wisely to those who deserve it. Take this word of advice and, one day when you are reversed into their role, others will aid you as you assisted others. Throw away your insufferable pride for once and treat others as you would expect others to treat you.

WinterMisery

@WinterMisery

A diligent student unlike any other. All knowledge leans towards her, assembly together. Never lost, nor forgotten. She retains it all, but is downtrodden. Her gift of memory, however useful. Can never mask the pain, which is youthful. Shunned at all times, for just being witty. Does nothing pleasant, as it brings pity. When the Earth freezes and the snow falls, all these dark memories begin to call. Whilst this time of year is celebration for others, it's another battle for sanity that she suffers. So I leave you now to silently ponder, what this poem whispers and its silent wonders.
