Hello again, and today is Monday, January 14, 2013. After coming up with an idea, albeit a mediocre one, I tend to want to brain-crack it around in my head for a few days. But then those few days turn into a few weeks and those few weeks turn into a few months. It spirals all the way down and I never get the idea out. That's how to get addicted to brain-crack but I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about FILDI. FILDI stands for “Fuck it Let's do it.” It's vulgar, yes, but gets its job done quite efficiently too. Whenever I feel like something I think of will be okay, but I need to mull it over for a few days, I try to remind myself about the spiral and tell my brain to start pumping out FILDI like hotcakes. That way I have more experience at more things. Not better experience at few or little things, because lots of little experience adds up to form a lot of experience.
