Hello again, and today is Sunday, October 14, 2012. A lot of times I think, and I ask myself "Why do we want to live even if there is nothing left to live for?" I mean if you're lying an inch away from death in a rut off a dirt road, then why go out with a struggle? Why not make peace with yourself, with your god, with anyone, then just let go, and let yourself be free. At this point you're only living for the point of continuing your life. Vivir por vivir; Spanish, meaning living for living. That's what we do when were so close to our demise that death has already put new sheets and fresh toiletries in our room. But if we don't do this then we give that power back to death, and were no closer to controlling death with our modern medicine than the old cavemen of yore that thought the caves were good; the outside is bad. And if we do relinquish that power, I'd be dammed by how oblivious we'd be to how much of a priviledge the types of lives we live now are. And how less fortunate the lives we'd revert to would be.
As always,

Keep calm, and vida la pena vivir.
