There's a darkness in my soul Very much like coal Which as my heart does shatter Causes the shards to scatter
It clings like smog to the nearness man And in a way only pain can Drags him to a place of repent And imprisons him with Love's cement.
An innocent man caught up in a wave Offers his emotions so mine are saved So watchers be vigilant and ever be warned Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned
