Lives are taken Without a moments thought What horrors we've wrought Inside of our hearts.
People kill without reason This world is so crazy Things seem so hazy Is there ever clarity?
Nothing seems to change Things aren't right How can we fight The hidden beast within?
Fear behind every corner Consuming and destroying Evil thoughts conspiring Always whispering to the mind.
Will there be a day Where we can walk outside And not hold fear that someone has died? That someone is mourning needlessly?
I pray that day will come.
