Ok So I'm a really big fan of Doctor Who. As in a squeel-at-new-episodes-join-fanclubs kind of fan. And I like to imagine what would happen if I wrote the episodes, not Moffat or anyone else. Truthfully, It'd probably go too far downhill and I'd be fired in an instant, but god knows it'd be exciting to implant my ideas :). But for all you doctor who fans... What if Rose had a daughter with the copy of the Doctor that regenerated from the hand? Her name would be Jessebell. Jessy, or Jess, for short, Who Tyler. But the (parrellel) world would know her as JT, notorius street artist and one hell of a survivor. In the parallel world, the orphanges are... tough. If you're not of use to them in any way, they kill you. make it look like an accident. The government doesn't stop them; the less mouths to feed the better. Instead, they support it. Rose died when Jess was 8. She was hit by a bus, but pushed Jess out of the way before she was hit too. The new Doctor killed himself, finding life unbearable without Rose. Jess was smart; she inherited the Doctors brain and Roses charm and looks. She knew she had hours before the Home would find her and keep her, for her brains. So she ran. She met another runaway, named Micky junior, who was about 14. He had run away from home life with Mickey, (yes, Roses Mickey) and a woman named Barbra from the paralell world. He taught Jess how to survive on the streets, and also how to express herself through the best form of art; vandalism.
In her art, Jess expressed her mum. Rose used to tell Jess stories of the Doctor, and her travels with him. Rose never told her that the Doctor was her father. Jess spraypainted one thing the first time she painted; the blue box that Rose described so well. Mickey junior is taken away by the Home, and ultimately killed because he was of no use. Jess heard of this, and started murals of her life, and beautiful artwork that could've been in a muesum but ended up on some street corner. Her artists tag was JT, for Jessebell Tyler. Jess has to fight to survive, pickpocketing and stealing and fighting, the whole thing. She lives in an abandoned apartment that can be accsessed by scaling a building. She is extremely athletic from running from coppers and hiding all these years. She is now 13 years old, with an outstanding intellect from nicking books from the library, and is spraypainting her famous Blue Box Paradox. Right behind her, as she is painting, The Tardis comes silently into view. The Doctor is shown inside, muttering to himself. "Not again, not again... Last time I did this Cybermen attacked and I nearly died..." He sighs as the tardis stops, and he reveals that he's fallen through a crack in space and time again, landing himself in Roses parallel universe. He steps outside just as Jess is finished painting. He realizes that that is the Tardis and exclaims. "What?" Jess jumps and spins around. She sprays the Doctor's suit in panic. "Shoot, are you a cop?" she stage whispers. "No... I'm just-" "The doctor." "What?" "Judging by your suit, and the blue police box, you're dressed up as the Doctor. Loser. You on your way to a fairytale convention or something?" "Dressed up as... How do you know about the Tardis?" "My crackpot mum used to tell me the stories. Are you going to turn me in? Because I have a knife and-" "I'm not going to- turn you in. Who are you?" "I'm not telling you, you weirdo!" "You tell me your name, or I tell the Scotland Yard." "Jess." "Jess is not a real name." "Jessebell, Ok?" "JESSEBELL WHAT?" "TYLER, YOU CREEPY OLD KOOK!"
The doctor then realizes that this is Rose Tylers daughter. He gains her trust by showing her the Tardis, and asks to see her mother. She tells him that Rose and the other Doctor are dead, and he breaks down weeping. After he regains his composure, he asks her where she lives. She explains everything, including what the homes do, and he takes pity on her and asks her to Travel with him. She laughs, and says, "Does it look like I have anything better to do?"
They travel together for 2 seasons, They're relationship forming a Father-Daughter thing. Over the course of their time together, The Doctor learns more and more about Jess and her struggles, including that she is a habit smoker. He acts very protective of her over time, becoming very involved in her safety and personal life. He loves that she is so smart, and sometimes notices things even the Doctor himself doesn't. She usually can save herself from tight spots, being accustomed to survival instincts. They form a healthy team up until the last episode of her last season, where she dies tragiclly and bravely, saying that, "Dying doesn't really hurt, not when you die young. Make sure I'm immortal, Doctor, at least in the peoples hearts. Oh god... I see mum. Bye, Doc. Sorry."
The Doctor, just as he was with Rose, is forever changed by his travels with Jess.
Hows that for a companion? Instead of the usual sexual tension thing going on, it's more of a Fatherly love? And a Child one? What do you think?
