I gazed out of the forest to see a sight never seen before. Huge mysterious buildings made not of straw but of something stronger, something uncommon to our village in the forest, towered high into the clouds. As I gazed out into this dreamy world, a black bird flew down onto a branch, obscuring my view. It looked at me and then gazed to the unknown land outside of the forest. It was as unknown to me as it was to him; a bird of the skies surely could have seen this before. Alas I concluded that this was no known civilization but a mysterious one. A noise outside of the forest startled the bird and he flew off, leaving me all alone. I decided to explore, find out what that noise was, whether there were people in that place. I moved the branches to part a way for me to walk through my land and into the unknown place. I took a step onto the new discolored gray ground that in no way resembled the forest floor. My foot found no foothold and I began to descend into darkness and space.

---I awoke startled at the sudden change of scenery. It was all a dream, but it looked so real, felt so real, but here I was in my straw hut, in my bed. Beside my bed a black bird crowed a good morning call.
