It broke my heart today to read that games developer EA is at the centre of a row in the USA over the inclusion of gay characters in two of their games. They're not a central part of the game, they're not jammed down your throat; they're just there. I know this because I've played both games. Extensively. Certain Christian groups in the US are now complaining that the inclusion of gay characters and gay romance in games is propaganda, and is setting a bad example for young children. Really? Is this what we want to teach or kids in the 21st century? That if a boy is attracted to other boys he'll go to hell? Because that's not propaganda either, honest guv. Here's my opinion for what it's worth. Our sexuality is like our faith. Our choice and nobody else's. Let us make up our own minds.
