Waking up so peacefully Wondering so hesitantly
Could this be the end? Could this be the end?
Wouldn't there be birds singing? Wouldn't there be bees buzzing?
Wouldn't there be grasshoppers hopping? Wouldn't there be woodpeckers pecking?
Wouldn't there be kittens meow-ing? Wouldn't there be dogs barking?
So hard to imagine So hard to accept the fact
Those few beautiful complex creatures Will come to an end one day.. The extinct will rush them away
If only we humans stop harming If only we humans stop cutting down their habitats If only we humans stop being so selfish
