In a circuit that is series Electricity goes one way, If one bulb is disconnected All lights will go away.
In a circuit that is parallel Electricity has two road If one bulb is disconnected The other had a stronger glow.
In a short circuit Where two wires are put The bulb will not light Electricity takes easiest route.
Effects on resistance are three fold Or at least that what I'm told Length and thickness and type of wire Heat is consistent to prevent fire.
