This isn't the end I refuse to believe If it was why am I writing Something no one will receive,

When the ash clouds descended, When the lightening destroyed They told us 'write letters' We couldn't avoid.

The stories surround, Love ones flock, Everyone bids fair well To our condemned little rock.

Three days they have promised Until the final bow, But if that is true- How are you reading this now?

You may read others like this If our fate does come true, If it happens to us- It could happen to you.

You cannot unread What I've told you today, Like the elephant in the room It will always stay.

I'm writing to no one Because either way, These letters will never again- See the light of day.
