Just handed in my assignment on feminism and the novel (pride and prejudice) really enjoyed this one. Love to know everyone's thoughts do you agree Austen was a prototype feminist as was the character of Elizabeth used in her novel? Or do you think by alway portraying happy marriages to all of her heroines she in fact subjected herself to the society stereotype?
