Don't be fooled by the face I wear, none of them are me,
My real face is mine, something I just don't want you to see,
The surface smooth, its the surface of my mask,
Mystery, uncertainty to hide my task,
Mask of gentle illuminating light,
My face still hidden, reserved from your sight,
Mask of kindness with love inside,
One of sincerity and magical pride,
I will not allow you to see how I really feel,
My mask to hide, my protective seal,
My mask is my mesh my mightiest shield,
For society is drull a blood filled battlefield,
My mask that grins, my mask that lies,
Hiding my cheeks and mesmurizing eyes,
Cannot let you in so onward with stone heart to the end,
So my fake face is where I will send,
You to love and for you to trust,
These tears are beginning to stain making my mask begin to rust,
It could be soon might even be tomorrow,
But I can't take it off and reveal my sorrow,
So pretend I will to understand times passed,
So that we will grow and forever last,
Just know nobody will find the truth when I'm wearing my mask.
