"House for sale Garden fair Garage door In need of repair Patio cracked In one place or two But aside from that The troubles are few! Windows need A decent scrub The carpet the same And don't mention the tub The neighbours are both of their eightieth year They have nineteen cats Who like to appear"
Awful, isn't it? Thought so too No wonder it hasn't Attracted a few See, I live in a house, just the same as the rest It's not big, it's not small Just in London South-West We were thinking of selling For something more quaint In the countryside, maybe With pastel-coloured paint So we put an ad In the paper last week Didn't get a response Not a call, not a peep It just wasn't right For our house was attractive But the ad was too boring The words all inactive The estate agent said That it wasn't enough In these tough selling times We just might have to bluff So I took the old ad and gave it to my niece Who promised to try and spice up the bland piece She handed it back with a grin all a-sparkling I read at, and grinning said: "Oh my niece, my darling"
"Mansion for sale Garden exquisite! Garage, artistic Well worth a visit! Patio cracked The trendy new way You'll have plans to go out And you'll just want to stay! The window is opaque The carpet is Persian And the bath, you may ask? Quite a colourful version! So quick, ring the number Dial a few times more! Daniel Craig will be waiting Yes, he does live next door
