A book can't hurt you It cannot commit a crime It can only make you chuckle Or help you kill time
They'll listen to your secrets And never tell a soul They tell you magic stories of ogres, witches and trolls
They won't ever try to hurt you, cause trouble or start fights They'll only help through a storm by flickering candlelight.
