Upon attempting explaining the concept of Alzheimer's (something I've always considered terrifying, and my grandad was diagnosed with) to my Seven year cousin I found myself astounded but also delighted when she replied 'yes but Ali it mustn't always be terrible, because grandad gets to make new friends every day.'
