Raiden had been following her all day. He'd been following her since she'd left for work at 05:27 to catch the 05:30 bus up the hill. Ten minutes later she'd reach her stop and entered the tube station, she'd clamber into the train carriage at 05:37 where she'd fall asleep leaning her head against the glass partition. Her long brown hair falling gently across face. He tried hard to pretend he didn't notice her vulnerability, that soft fragility hidden beneath dark blue eyes. Occasionally she would open them and look at him without really noticing his existence. Still firmly held in the grip of sleep.
Raiden sat across from her and watched her through the entire twenty minute journey. She exited at Camden Town and walked the empty morning streets towards the Stables Market. He'd been watching and following like this for the last two weeks. She would pop out of work in The Yoga & Mediation centre aptly named - Satori, have a quick cigarette, check her phone for messages then head back inside. Raiden won't see her again till 14:30 when she'd finish her shift.
But this morning was different, this time he wanted to pay her a visit. Hear her voice, talk to her just the once. He felt he knew her habits well enough but nothing about her as a person. This was a dangerous game to play. He knew if he couldn't control it, there would of course be hell to pay. He was Shinobi. A hired hand. A ninja. And yet he couldn't help himself, Raiden felt possessed by the shy little girl he'd been shadowing for so long.
