I dined with an good old friend tonight. He has tasted much of life in his many years and he is from a very different culture than I. We talked of times gone by, when a handshake went beyond just a greeting. He sees the world far clearer than I, but one thing that upsets him as he cannot understand why people behave in such a way. And I have to agree.
