"Ash! Run!" I screamed, as the furry beast chased him through the dark woods.
It came out of nowhere through the bushes. I kept myself going ignoring the burning in my lungs, I began to slow. There was a howl. I heard Ash's distant screams. Screams of pain. Hot tears ran down my cheeks, as I forced my legs to keep going. I found him, screaming on the grass, with three deep gashes in his arm. I bit my lip and bolted to his side. "Shhh.." I whispered, touching his pale lovely face, stroking his white-blonde hair. I looked at his mangled arm. Blood continued to ooze everywhere, a wave of dizziness passed through me. I looked into his petrified green eyes that glistened under the moonlight. He screamed again. "I know it hurts." He barely noticed me there. He rolled to his stomach, trying to hold himself up as he vomited.
I backed up, watching as he threw up. He fell back over, his body twitching. I stared in shock as hair sprout from his arms, his back made a hideous snapping noise as it arched unnaturally. He continued to howl in pain. I bit my sleeve, trying not to scream myself. His body continued to morph. I felt my knees give out. I fell, watching him in shock. He let out another human scream. There was a blur, and he was gone. In his place was a massive, black wolf, unconscious on the forest floor.
