A month passed. The lake was cold, the forest was red and orange. The school was full, a thousand gifted teenagers trained five days a week for the coming battle. Hearts slowly healed, they all began to get stronger, swifter, and wiser. Jordan and Roslyn finished their training, and started their weekend together in the woods. "Adrian looks a lot better huh?" Roslyn said, sitting on a high branch, tracing Jordan's palm. "Yeah. He does." A cool breeze passed, Roslyn shivered. He looked at her, smiling. "Cold?" "No." He tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "Halloween is coming up huh?" She said. "Yeah.." "Do we do anything for that?" "Yeah.. We throw a big party." "Where?" "Dining room. It's quite large when it's emptied out. Or, Walter will charm it, so it's bigger for the night. There's a thousand here now." Roslyn watched a leaf tumble to the ground. "Huh.." He looked at his watch. "It's six. You hungry?" "Yeah.. Want to go eat?" "Sure. Hold on!" He said grinning, scooping her up, dashing through the trees, the forest a colorful blur around them. She laughed, watching everything pass by so fast. She was used to the speed now, Jordan liked getting around at his pace. In minutes they were at the front doors. He set her down, smiling. "Always fun." She said. He ran a hand through her windswept curls, gently kissing her. "Ready?" "Mhm." He said. The walked in and down the hall, quietly entering the dining room, filled with other students. They slipped through the crowd and landed in their spot with Flynn and Olivia. "Hey guys!" Olivia said. "Where's Wilbur? And Adrian?" Roslyn asked. "They already ate." Flynn said, his mouth full of bread. "Oh. So, whats up wolf boy?" Roslyn teased. He smiled. "Just keeping it real bonfire." He said. She scowled playfully. Olivia giggled. Jordan said nothing, picking at his potatoes. There was an awkward silence. "So um, how was alchemy?" Olivia asked, breaking the silence. "Okay, just difficult. We're doing flammables. They suck." Roslyn said. "Yeah, I know." Jordan stared out the window, watching the sunset. They talked for a while about combat and survival, until Jordan gave her a look, rising. It meant he was going. "Well, um, I'm going to go, so I'll see you guys later." "Bye." They both said. The two headed back up to their room in silence. "What's wrong?" She asked, at she shut the door behind them. "I'm just tired." He said, sitting on the bed, running a hand through his hair. "You didn't sleep great last night.. You woke up a lot." She said, sitting beside him. "I won't let him hurt you." Roslyn said, laying back. "You're easy to read." She said. He turned over, looking down at her. He touched her face. "He's going to burn in hell." She said, staring up at him. He smiled his cute crooked smile. She pulled his mouth to hers, kissing him long and hard. He made a sound of surprise, but he didn't fight her. His hands ran up her sides, she had her nails dug into his back. Oxygen didn't even seem necessary to them, they only needed each other. She was barely aware of the world around her, enjoying his hot lips on hers. Her heart raced as he got more aggressive. She gripped his shirt, unable to breathe, his grip getting strong. She heaved in air. "Jor-" she managed. His eyes flashed open, black. He jumped off, backing into the wall. "Sorry, sorry.." He said, looking at her, his eyes filled with green again. She sat up, gasping. "It's okay, I just needed to breathe." "I just forget, and lose control and-" "Jordan?" "Mm?" "It's okay!" He smirked, rubbing his eyes. "Oh my Roslyn... My stubborn little Roslyn." She smiled.

"Less than two months, and we will be prepared my brothers!" Tamar announced to his growing army of demons. "We will destroy every one of them!" He said. The demons made their growls roars and gurgles of agreement. Tamar closed his hole filled with demons. He had one last attempt to take Jordan down. He watched them in the mirror, grinning. He would shimmer in personally, and take her. As a lure for Jordan, who would do anything for her. His only thing that stopped him from taking over. There was a way. It would be done. He laughed, fazing into his demonic form.
*** "As much as I love you're kisses, I need a quick shower, love." She grinned. "Kay." He smiled, pulling his shirt on, kissing her forehead. "Don't go anywhere." He said. She giggled, running a hand through her tangled hair. He smiled, leaving the room. Roslyn flopped back down onto the pillow, she was exhausted. She closed her eyes for a moment, still smiling. She was deeply in love with Jordan. It was intense. Slowly, she began to slip away. Something grabbed her out of no where, she screamed. She looked to see a massive red hand over her mouth, muffling her screams. She kicked and fussed as the creature restrained her. It laughed. A tear ran down her face as her body dissolved into thin air with the creature.
