Discovered. ~5~

Jordan and Roslyn sat on the docks by the lake, talking about their lives, before they came to the manor. His story. His childhood before Walter had found him, was sick, twisted, and gruesome. "So, why did your uncle beat you? Was he a demon?" "He was mad. He claimed I came from hell. And no, it's said my father drank the blood if a powerful demon, turning him into a hideous, bloodthirsty bastard. Where he is now, why my mother died, I don't know." He said. She pulled a loose thread from her black shirt. Her hair began to curl up as it dried, from her recent shower. "We've both been through madness." "Mine's nothing like yours. You've lived a tormented, scary seventeen years." She said. "At least I'm not alone anymore. Not the only one, in curiosity." He said, staring at the water, glistening under the sun. "So, what about my powers? Can I practice them?" He smiled. "Never thought you'd ask." He stood up, she did the same. He lead her back across the field to a massive shed. "One moment." He said, walking in, quickly coming back with several targets. He set them up, all around her. He returned to her side, giving her a playful look. "Okay. First thing any flicker needs to know, is their trigger. What makes the flames. How did you feel when the
flames appeared?" "Pissed off." "Okay. So I have to piss you off." She stared at him. This wouldn't be hard. "Look at you. A misfit in school. All of the girls jumping you, picking on you, trampling on you..." She began to feel warm. "So alone, lost in this world.." She was getting ticked, staring at him. He gave her a mocking smile, knowing it was working. He felt bad for saying those things, but he had to set her off. "Damn you." She growled, as flames appeared, dancing in her palms. "I got it! What do I do?" She yelled, smiling. He came behind her, grabbing her arms. That target was the demon that attacked you two nights ago. Let it come naturally." He said. She threw it, setting it on fire. "Brilliant! Now do the rest." He said. She smiled, putting he flaming palm to her mouth, blowing flames to the next one, power and relief flowing through her.

Walter watched Roslyn and Jordan from the window in his office. He was teaching her how to be a Flicker. His boy was in love. From the moment he came back with her half dead in his arms. He always doubted Jordan, and love. His demon half wouldn't allow it. But it did. She would keep him together, when everything was over. He knew very well he would be gone in a few months, when Jordan's father rised from hell, with his demonic army. He would kill Walter first. For keeping the boy alive, and teaching him good. An evil man Jordan's father was. Killing his wife the moment Jordan took his first breath. Before she could meet her son. He felt a tear run down his tender face. Walter never saw Jordan look so happy with Roslyn. Her presence changed him. Not like Flynn, or Olivia did.
Memories of the three flowed through his mind, of Flynn's first full transformation when he was thirteen. When Olivia learned to fly. Today, Jordan learned there was, in his demonic soul, a patch of light. There was a knock. He spun around. "Yes?" Flynn walked in, Olivia behind him. The pair were the only two that knew what was happening. The wipe out being plotted by Jordan's father. He stared at Flynn, he had dark hair, always unkept, and bright blue eyes. He grew to be tall and muscular. And sweet Olivia, with a pair of beautiful angel wings, long golden hair, and chocolate brown eyes. "So, how about the new girl?" Flynn asked, as the two joined his side. Olivia watched as Jordan spun Roslyn around, you could see the two laughing. "I've never seen him so happy." She said. Flynn nodded. "How many are here now Flynn?" "There's
Twenty-one, and then me, Olivia, Jordan, and Roslyn." Walter slammed his hands on his desk. "Jordan needs to know about this Walter." Olivia said softly. "I don't want to hurt him either, but he does." Flynn added. "You kids, have no idea how hard this is for me. Now, today is, what Wednesday?" The two nodded. "My sister's children, twenty from her manor arrive sunday." "So that makes, forty-five." Olivia said. "I have friends all over the world, with the same things. It's been agreed when the time has come, we will ban together." A tear ran down Olivia's face. Angels were very sensitive. "Why? Why do we have to do this? Why do so many kids have to die Walter this isn't right!" She cried. Flynn wrapped around her. "Because His father is going to burn down the world and laugh Olivia! I don't want to do this. But this is I have to do. There are a hundred places exactly like this around the world. We all swore to do this. To train the gifted, so when Tamar arrives to destroy the world, we can stop it. Do you want a few live lost, or the world demolished?" She sobbed harder, leaving the room. "Walter she's just sensitive. But, Jordan needs to know." "I will get to it. When the others arrive in a few days." Flynn stared at him. "He's practically my brother. I don't want him screwed over any more than he has been." He growled. He turned, and walked out of the office, probably to find Olivia, and try to comfort her, leaving Walter alone in his office with his head in his hands.

I'm 15. I love creative writing. I've read fantasy all my life, fascinated and in love with the new characters and worlds I've explored. I'm a total nerd, and english is by far my favorite class in school. I get kind of depressed sometimes, so I write it out. I just love it. Throwing on music and getting lost in my stories, worlds, creations... Ooh, and I follow back! Please leave comments, I love to hear what you think, & your ideas:) hope you enjoy my dark little worlds and characters..
