My personal intellect says we would incur less injury if we made emotional decisions with our intellect...
Unfortunately, as humans, we tend to let emotions drive our decision making.
However, truly emotional decisions would be best guided if we took our emotions and intellect into consideration.
I'm trying to remove outsiders answers for my life from the equation... Their guidance whether it be based in knowledge, love, wisdom, jealousy or dislike.
Searching within ourselves to weigh the emotional and intellectual is empowering. No matter the outcome we can be "a force to be reckoned with" knowing that we took the time to see the issue, weigh our own understanding, and produce an end result that if weighed equally in intellect and emotion will 9 out of 10 times be a positive result. We can take more pride and empowerment from being an individual making sound decisions for ourselves.
Peer pressure in matters of our own life should be banned. Use friends, colleagues, and family as your sounding board but not your voice and weather vein.
I chart my own course. My mistakes and achievements are my own.
This becomes ownership of the mind, body, and soul.
Think about it: who would you prefer ruling your mind, body, and soul? Listen to that voice inside and trust in it. Because we want only the best for ourselves. Take the time to think on a decision before you make it.
These are my own thoughts and I can make positive change. I am going to allow myself to use my past experiences, knowledge, and soul develop the best within me.
