Isn't it crazy how when you're listening to a song you can have flashbacks of a specific moment in your life when you were listening to the song. I was just listening to "The good times are killing me" by Modest Mouse and had a great memory of when after a great night out with friends I would drive to this neighborhood and park at the top of a lookout spot and enjoy staring out over the city and night sky. I loved sneaking into that neighborhood for just a little peace of mind. Now a large house blocks the great view over the skyline. But I can listen to that song and have the mental vision to enjoy. Good times... Thank goodness they didn't kill me. :)
