The best day of my life happened today in 1975, You may find that strange as I wasn't even alive, The man of my dreams was born on this day, His journey begun and he never lost his way, He lived his life and we where worlds apart, Till the day he found the courage to follow his heart, I thank my lucky stars that you stand by my side, There is no reason to run or to hide, You are my best friend, my heart and my rock, You're my provider, my soul and my alarm clock, The man of my life and my future to come, My strength and my sanity rolled into one, I'll stand by your side through sickness and health, The commitment I make is richer than wealth, Your life will be rosy, happy and calm, The path that you've chosen wont lead you to harm, I just need you to know that I mean what I say, I'll never let you down or stand in your way, It's you and me darling till the very end, My man, my soul mate and my best friend, You're the smile that you see everyday in my eyes, They will never deceive you or tell you any lies, This poem could go on forever and a day, So much in my heart that's still left for me to say, Everyday that passes my dreams are coming true, And all I wanted to say was Happy Birthday to you.
