For this rather deep and poetical post I'd firstly like to refer to one of my favourite song lyrics: "breathing comes in pairs, except for twice - one begins and one's goodbye". These gorgeous words from "Enough For Now" by The Fray are about something quite simple that's been turned into something so beautiful as not many of us realise its true meaning. "Breathing comes in pairs" - in and out; "except for twice" - when we're born and when we die; "one begins and one's goodbye" - the beginning of life and the end of life.

The whole point of this blog is as follows: if in that one moment when we first open our eyes we could look forward with wisdom at what perils and what little joy we will encounter along the rotten and rocky road of life, if we had the choice, would we just close are eyes and drift off into the possibly overrated world of the heavens, or would we allow are spirit to be cluttered and stained with scars and heartbreaking stories that never leave us? If we could blink at the beginning of our lives and then not be of this world, would we? If we could do that at any time of out life, only if we knew that there is life after death, would we? If when think of the effects it would have on others, would we? Would I? I won't lie; I won't say.
