Last year I took a trip to Africa. I was appalled at some of the living conditions and scenes I saw! People struggled just to make it through the day, they didn't have any clean water to live on and lived in extreme poverty. It really brought a tear to my eye, here I am sleeping with a roof over my head, eating more than some of the deprived people would eat in a week, bathing and drinking plenty of clean water, getting an education. I still complain every day about something though, I argue, hurt the people I love and hurt the people around me. I might not always see it but I am so fortunate for everything I have and when those people in Africa wonder each day how many days they have left, I get scared about exams and meaningless things. What I am trying to say is, if you feel that you aren't lucky for what you have, look around you and remember how fortunate you are compared to others.
