This endless war
Between you and me
It's bringing us down
Can't you see?
Our relationship crumbling
Every passing day
We can't seem to find the words to say
That will fix this whole thing
My heart says "I miss you"
My head says "forget you"
But I can't seem to forget all the times spent
Of us laughing and joking
Again and again
But I guess what I'm trying to say is
On the outside it may seem like
I hate you
But on the inside
I secretly miss you...
